Carolina was more than just a Guards Red Porsche 930 Turbo from 1975, she was a Recife legend, embodying the fiery spirit of Brazil. Born in Porsche’s turbocharged golden age, Carolina’s 3.0-liter flat-six engine with 260 horsepower took to Recife’s coastal roads, her iconic “whale tail” spoiler casting a shadow on sun-soaked streets.
Her first owner, a spirited local racer, would navigate her through winding beachside routes, pushing her raw power to the limit as they left behind the vibrant hum of Recife’s nightlife. With every trip, Carolina’s bold red paint echoed the sunsets over the Atlantic, while her unmistakable growl added rhythm to the city’s samba
Over the decades, she passed through different hands, each new driver adding to her story, but Carolina never lost her sparkle. With every scuff and scratch, she carried the memories of miles and streets explored, becoming an icon of Brazilian roads and a living testament to Porsche’s legacy of endurance and daring spirit.
Fun Fact #1: We bought the 10321 LEGO set, the iconic Chevrolet Corvette from the Icons line, just to build this 930 Turbo in Guards Red.
Fun Fact #2: The interior is inspired by the old wooden bead seat cushions from the late 80s and early 90s. The old man used to have the same colors in his car.
